General¶

In the “General” tab, it is important to enter your full name correctly. People often mix up the “Last name” and “First name” fields, which causes conference invitations to be filled out incorrectly, and a person may not be able to find themselves in the alphabetical list.

In the Contacts section, specify your city of residence and preferred contact methods. These details are often used automatically when applying for participation in an event. When filling in the “City” field, a dropdown list with matching options will appear — be sure to select the correct one, otherwise the site will think the field is empty.
